Government Departments & Agencies
Ready Supplier One presents an excellent opportunity for government departments and agencies to reach their Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) targets through Indigenous spend, as RS One enables them to increase their rate of purchasing from Indigenous businesses. Currently, many Indigenous businesses are not eligible to be utilised as suppliers, due to them not meeting procurement guidelines. We understand that for an Indigenous business, being in a position to tender for work is priority one, but equally important is the need to meet Supplier requirements so they can actually conduct business with you.
As RS One assists these businesses to become supplier ready, we also help build their capability and capacity and scale up accordingly. This gives the government the ability to increase the volume and value of contracts awarded to Indigenous businesses.
RS One will also provide advice on engaging with Indigenous business ensuring respectful relationships are formed and long-term partnerships are built.
Non-Indigenous businesses, Not-For-Profits
RS One will help build a list of Supplier Ready Indigenous businesses that are relevant to your business and industry. As the governing body for Indigenous businesses, Supply Nation provides an extensive database of verified Indigenous businesses, but they do not show if these businesses meet your specific procurement guidelines. RS One will engage with the right organisations one-on-one and help facilitate a long-term business relationship with you.
Whatever your reason for needing to utilise Indigenous business, whether it be Reconciliation Action Plan commitments or contractual KPI’s etc, we can link you up with Indigenous businesses that meet your procurement requirements and are ready to engage.
Another key service we offer is to assist with Indigenous engagement, community engagement and understanding Indigenous protocols. This will make the process more meaningful and help it develop into a true collaboration.

RS One will assist Indigenous businesses that are trying to secure contracts to grow their business but need assistance navigating the procurement process. All procurement processes differ, so it is our job to understand what is required from these organisations, and then work closely with you to meet the requirements.
